Article number: kb-56 | Q. I have booked my domain elsewhere but i want to take hosting. Can i do this?
A. Yes. Changing Nameservers is your responsibility. So please ensure that you have access to domain management control panel becuase we have found that unlike us, many other companies do not give you access to domain management control panel resulting in the fact that your domain is always held hostage. This always happens when you book domains with one of those cheap service providers where you feel happy saving a $ or two.
We do not offer any refunds for your inability to change Nameservers for any reasons whatsoever. We would help you in changing the Nameservers in case you provide access to following:
- Domain Management URL
- Username
- Password
Please note that most of the time when you ask for domain management details your other "Cheap Service Provider" would give you FTP details. Tell them you need to change NAMESERVER.
In the long run, once your account is setup with us, we advise you to transfer the domain to your account with us. We do not keep any access details of clients with us. Yes we may be expensive by a US $ or two for domain, but that's what "Professional Service" is all about.
